     Chateau Vie, is a private estate & Wedding Venue located conveniently to Winston Salem, Greensboro, & High Point just outside the cute small town of Walnut Cove, NC. We attract couples from all over NC & VA to host their weddings because of our unique & affordable All Inclusive Wedding Packages.

HISTORY

​

     Chateau Vie, was originally constructed in 1949 for the Marshall family, a NC congressional member.  The original estate was over 200 acres, and served like much of North Carolina, as a working tobacco farm.  Over the years much of the acreage was sold off down to 40 acres.  The property was in the Marshall family until 2007, when it was sold and converted into Chateau Fontaine, a Bed & Breakfast.  In February of 2018, it was purchased by Tyler & Mary Rhodes, who saw the beauty of the property, and potential to convert it into a wedding venue.  Tyler & Mary have been in the wedding industry serving thousands of weddings sense 2007.  After renovating much of the property, and making additions, today it serves as Chateau Vie, a unique NC wedding venue and creates a true old world charm and elegance for your NC wedding or special event.

THE GROUNDS
